Voice Communication Equipment

This project utilizes transmission and reception of voice and data over RF frequencies.
The voice/monitor units installed in apartment suites unmute in an emergency and
allow fire fighters to give evacuation procedures via a voice broadcast.
Each unit also monitors alarm sensors (temp, etc.) and forwards this information
through power line carrier FSK signaling to a monitoring PC located in the base
of the building. This information is then called through to a monitoring station
using existing phone lines and a modem.
