Samuel Kennedy
May 10, 1970 - February 24, 2002

Samuel Kennedy, as he was known to us at Kerber Applied Research Inc., will be remembered by his co-workers as a dedicated and approachable friend; optimistic, enjoying people and laughing together, passionate in living his faith, and seeking opportunities to share his hope with others. Samuel worked closely with Andrew Brown (software programmer), Tom Kerber (president), and Paul Barham (production manager). He brought with him project leadership skills, expertise in electronic communications, and troubleshooting skills to various projects we were designing. Significant project contributions on the patent-pending digital transmitter design research, alongside Andrew Brown, and his troubleshooting on a receiver monitoring system will continue to have an impact for a long time.
He boldly faced the personal challenges life brought him with strength and faith in God and the encouragement of friends at work, school peers, and relationships with church families. We rejoiced with him at his wedding ceremony in Canada, and offer our deepest sympathy to Joyce, his dear wife, to Valerie Deguchi, his endeared stepmother, and closest of friends he leaves behind. We are saddened by the sudden news of his death in Kenya on February 24, 2002.
